“Well, here we are.”
“Where?”
“Here.”
“But it says, “Do Not Enter.””
“Correct. You wanted to see an old home. This was an old home. All that’s left is a wall and a door. What else would you like to see?”

Lol! Yes ma’am, I will not enter, I will keep out! This is perfect for Dan’s Thursday Doors Lois! At least there wouldn’t be much upkeep for this place, would there?

What exactly is it that I’m not entering?
This is a great door, Lois.

The twilight zone? The unknown? Guess you have to enter to find out. 😆 We’ll just keep on driving, though…😬 Thanks, Dan!

I’m in! 😉 Let’s go! 😀
I always have so many questions when I see such a place…what year was it built, who inhabited it, what was their life like, why is only part of it still standing, who decided on the color scheme (Ha!), who inhabits it now (mice? raccoons? worse? 😮 😬 ) and ETC. 🙂
I can figure out why the KEEP OUTs and DO NOT ENTER…but, oh, gosh, I’d still want see what is inside. 🙂
(((HUGS))) ❤️❤️❤️
PS…makes me think of the old old old old song my parents used to play on the record player…”This Old House” by Stuart Hamblen. 🙂

Isn’t it funny that you don’t (or at least I don’t) remember what it was when it’s gone. This was standing up downtown for the longest time. It’s gone now and the plot of land is vacant. haha! Yes, color scheme requires answers! 🤣

Thanks, Martha. Sadly, the house (?) is long gone. Only a vacant lot now.

I would just walk around the back. It doesn’t say Do Not Sneak Around.
The main question is why?

Hard to tell which is the back and which is the side. The surrounding area could be, let’s just say, hazardous.

I wouldn’t want to live across the street from that, but I think it’s hilarious. I give it credit for not giving up easily!

Oh, let’s be neighborly and bring them some cookies, Maureen. 😆
It has since been demolished. Or even more demolished since I snapped the photo. Empty lot now. This was so much more fun to look at than an empty lot.

I think it would have been a good idea to meet behind it with our own cookies — for us! But now it’s gone, poor old wall. The empty lot doesn’t make people stop and wonder, does it?

Oh the stories within the walls of this tired and aged home … secrets stories protected by “keep out!”
