Imagine giving directions to these colorful homes in town…”Just direct your feet to the sunny side of the street.”
Or walking up your front walk singing, “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.”
With colorful homes like these, you didn’t expect an ordinary fence, did you?
There might be no door day today, but, Dan, I have a door for you.

What a fun place to live where imaginations can thrive! The sunshine house is so cute! It’s 20*F here Lois, so seeing these sunny homes is a treat.

So much color, Hien. There are about five other houses on this block equally colorful! It is a sight to behold.

I love it! It reminds me of my old neighborhood, where the HOA said you could only paint your house with colors “found in nature.” Well, what color isn’t found in nature?

Well, that is a strange thing…even for an HOA, isn’t it?

These are wonderful! I like to image what the people are like who live in houses like these. I imagine they are continually smiling.

That’s what I think, too! How could you be grumpy in a house like any of these?

So pretty, Lois! Smile-bringers, for sure! 🙂
The most colorful street of houses I ever saw was when we lived in SF and we saw The Painted Ladies for the first time…the colorful Victorian houses (pink, green, blue, red, yellow, etc. 🙂 ) all in a row!

I had a cookie jar of The Painted Ladies and I loved it. Seeing pictures of them, they were even prettier!

They are such a wonderful, colorful break from the other white or brick houses around them. Our little fun place in town.

Wonderful, cheerful colors and it would be a fun trying to describe the address. Love the fact that the picket fence is also brightly colored in blue and white. Great share, Lois.

Thank you so much, Suzette! I was in love with the houses, but then that fence…!! 😍 I would smile everyday walking into any of these homes.

There is something about yellow, isn’t there? What a spirit-lifter! And the other colors with it in your photo look even better because of the yellow, I think. It would appear no introverts live on that street!

haha! That is so funny about introverts, Maureen. You would learn to be a people person very quickly!

There were no “official” doors, but I’m touching base with some favorites and I love this one. When we first bought our house, it had painted wood shingles. A friend was coming over and I tired directions-by-color and told him we were the only orange house on the street. After telling my wife I had given him those directions, she informed that out house was tan. Oops.

The few times I have a door and I laughed to myself that it was on a non-door day. 😆 Directions-by-color is great and I’d say you were pretty darn close in your color. Enjoy your time off–see you next week!

Thanks Lois. Your door will make it into the Boffo Recap next Sunday (yeah, I know, it’s Easter).
