what an amazingly beautiful cat. There’s a lot of recessive genes going on there.

Maybe even a hint of eeriness from those eyes. 🙂

Oh yes, they eyes have it. I adore it when I see cats with two different colored eyes. Beautiful oddity. 😀

Giulio, my husband’s mother male cat, has the same blue and dark yellow eyes with white fluffy fur ❤
It is a genetic modification for white colour, but those eyes are very delicate, sensitive and the crystalline lens must be often controlled by the vet because it is weak.

Thank you for this, Sid. I had no idea. I was just amazed that 1) this was such a pure white cat and 2) I had never seen eyes like this before. This cat lives at a marina so I hope the owner does take care of her and she is just not one that they feed and let fend for herself. I can’t wait to go back there and see her again–knowing about the genetics. I really appreciate this information. ❤

Thanks so much. I just read your post about your cat, Ali and the feather in her throat. How scary. She is OK now?
LikeLike
Yes she is better now. Ali has feline autoimmune disease and has been in remission for four months so she is a very special girl.
TY for asking.
